Goals

In collaboration with The Michaels Organization, Canopy generated a proposal for redevelopment of the Chicago Housing Authority’s Wicker Park Apartments. The design aimed to yield an attractive, sustainable, safe and healthy community with linkages to shopping, parks, transit, health care and other neighborhood amenities.

Results

The development plan includes enhancements to two existing buildings on the property, a new 32-unit mixed-income building with two, first floor commercial spaces and an improved parking lot with better lighting and circulation.
