Mark Kaminski joined Canopy in September 2021 to pursue his passion for high-performance sustainable design and to help tackle the housing affordability crisis in Chicago. Mark’s interest for sustainable architecture stems from his education at The Illinois Institute of Technology and study abroad experience in Germany. Mark received his Professional Degree in Architecture in 2015 and is currently working toward licensure.
Before joining Canopy, Mark worked on a variety of mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial projects in Chicago and other areas around the country. In his free time, Mark enjoys traveling with his girlfriend, spending time with his pets, running, sketching, reading, back country camping, and playing 16” softball.
