Mark Kaminski joined Canopy in 2021 to pursue his passion for high-performance sustainable design and to help tackle the housing affordability crisis in Chicago. Mark’s interest in sustainable architecture stems from his education at the Illinois Institute of Technology and his study abroad experience in Germany. Mark received his Professional Degree in Architecture in 2015 and licensure in 2023.
During his time at Canopy, Mark has contributed to numerous projects including Encuentro Square, South Park Plaza, Albany Terrace, Irene McCoy Gaines, Elizabeth Davis, DUO Pavilion, and most recently, the Humboldt Park United Methodist Church adaptive reuse project.
