Lisa Wronski joined Canopy in May 2022 with the goal of creating empathetic, people-first design. She has a desire to create a more equitable world through design.
Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014, which included a year-long study abroad experience in Versailles, France. Her time abroad was pivotal to her growth as an artist and designer. She went on to receive her Master of Architecture in 2016. After graduating, Lisa moved to Chicago.
Before joining Canopy, Lisa worked on a variety of project types including mixed-use commercial, multifamily residential, and public architecture. Outside of the studio, Lisa enjoys playing beach volleyball and is an avid urban sketcher.

What is your favorite cocktail?
Lavender Bee’s Knees (plus it has a great name!)
What was your first job?
Motor Safari Guide at the Brookfield Zoo. I drove a zebra-painted tram and had an hour-long speech memorized filled with facts and cheesy jokes.
Where do you feel most at home?
Teleportation. I hate wasting time in transit.
What is a hobby you spend a lot of time on outside of work?
I draw every single day and play a lot of beach volleyball!
If you could be any material, what material would you be?
A brick. Bricks are the best.
