Elyssa is an architect who is passionate about improving quality of life through human-centric design. Born and raised in Lebanon, she studied architecture at Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts earning a bachelor and a master of architecture. She also lived in Madrid where she attended ETH Zürich and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid earning a master of advanced studies in collective housing where she learned from leading architects in the discipline.

Elyssa’s experience spans various international contexts. Notably, she was involved in rebuilding efforts following the 2020 Beirut Port explosion where she contributed to renovating affected and socioeconomically vulnerable areas. She has also worked on projects ranging from luxury multi-family housing in the MENA region and Africa to interior design for residential units in the United States and urban design in Brussels.

Elyssa believes that architecture and wellbeing are strongly linked. She strives to put the human experience first and challenges the conception of spaces to create freedom of use, adaptability, and comfort. Her core principle is that architecture must be sensitive to different values and ways of living which means creating unique spaces to tell different stories. Spaces must be able to adapt to leave the possibility for evolution.
