Temitayo Odunlami
- LEED GA
Temitayo (Tayo) Odunlami’s passion for design stems from growing up in Lagos, Nigeria where he observed the issues that arose from lack of planning. He joined Canopy in 2021 shortly after receiving his Master of Architecture and Master of Construction Management degrees from Washington University in St. Louis.
Tayo has a strong interest in exploring how well-thought-out design can actively address social issues to improve living and environmental conditions—a curiosity he has pursued across commercial, healthcare, retail and residential projects.
Tayo received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also spent a semester studying at Sociedad Central de Arquitectos in Buenos Aires Argentina.
Outside of the studio, he enjoys long-distance running and broadening his understanding of the world through leisurely reading. He likes to think of himself as a traveler and has visited countries on five continents so far.
