Lorenis Rosario completed her Master of Architecture degree with emphasis in Interior Architecture from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 2017 following the completion of her Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Puerto Rico in 2015.
Prior to joining Canopy, Lorenis worked for a number of architectural firms in Chicago, focusing on single and multi-family residential, commercial and educational projects. As a design practitioner, Lorenis is currently pursuing her Architecture licensure through NCARB’s AXP program. With educational training in both, architecture and interior architecture, she hopes to keep developing both skills through her career on on going projects.
Her passion for socially-aware/community focused architecture is one of her main drives in architecture– it is a great joy for her to exercise these interests through socially-driven projects in the studio. With experiences in urban settings within Puerto Rico and Chicago, her love for the city is evident in the work she takes on. In her free time, Lorenis loves to biking along the lake, cinema, and enjoys long walks with her furry pals as she is also a professional dog walker.
