Hannah Hortick is an architectural practitioner living and working in Chicago. She completed her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2015. Joining Canopy at the start of 2016, Hannah engages on a wide range of projects for the firm and has quickly become an established studio leader. Hannah’s interests lie in community-focused and research-based design as key drivers for meaningful solutions to architectural problems.
Outside of the studio, Hannah continues to broaden her architectural knowledge through independent research projects, design discourse, and travel. She is passionate about urban design and its impact on society and the environment. She previously lived, studied, and worked in Hong Kong and Berlin during her studies at UIC. She continues her exploration of cities and the built environment, expanding on her knowledge of architecture’s increasingly important role in urban life.
