NSP2 Scattered Site Housing – Back of the Yards

As part of the US Federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP2) in the Back of the Yards neighborhood with Pilsen’s The Resurrection Project (TRP) as the non-profit developer, a set of existing multi-family homes were redesigned and renovated for new affordable housing Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood.

Intricate changes were provided to each unit layout to provide spatial efficiency and comfort. Major system replacements were coordinated including HVAC, structural, and fenestration.  Full improvements along the building envelope were provided for Chicago Energy Code Compliance.
