Little Village Community Center

The Little Village Community Center project looks to transform an existing 1-story office building in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood for combined community and administrative use, while also providing a small addition at the rear of the site to serve as a mixed-use space for a variety of neighborhood uses.  Through a community engagement process, Jaime Torres and MKB were able to come up with a financially viable, aesthetically sensible, and meaningful design to serve as a symbol of safety and promise for the Little Village neighborhood for many years to come.
